Wood, stone and sintered stone: what to check before installation
For wood and stone, start with QIANXING Star Ring B: panels 8–38mm thick, using a matching housing without a standard 86-type back box. Also confirm that surface thickness plus clearance exceeds 40mm.
Measure both panel thickness and rear clearance
8–38mm is the panel thickness range, not a substitute for checking the full installation space. Surface thickness plus clearance must exceed 40mm. Both requirements must be met.
Provide QIANXING with the panel cross-section, rear clearance and photos of the installation position. Explain each layer of composite panels, backing or other structures; the finish material’s nominal thickness alone is insufficient.
Check stone and sintered stone before fabrication
Before cutting, confirm the currently sold structure, module arrangement and dimensioned drawings. For sintered stone, provide the exact panel, actual thickness and rear structure so the project team can confirm fabrication feasibility.
The panel range on this page is not a blanket guarantee for every stone or sintered stone specification or fabrication method. Thin panels and special backing structures particularly require checking the actual construction first.
Continue the finish across the faceplate
For wood, consider grain direction and adjacent positions. For stone, consider veining, colour variation and cutting position. Confirm the visible face and top-to-bottom orientation before shipping material and arranging fabrication.

Confirm structure and functions together
Star Ring B uses a matching housing, so no separate standard 86-type back box is needed. Space must still be provided for wiring and function modules.
At bedsides, cabinet sides and islands, consider actual plugs, cable routing and everyday operating space alongside the front appearance.

Does an in-range panel thickness guarantee installation?
No. Also check rear clearance, openings, fixing, wiring and the actual structure; thickness alone is not enough.
Can a stone faceplate be cut from any other area?
First confirm veining, colour variation and orientation, and match each faceplate to its installation position before fabrication.
